Dr. G.V Prasad Rao
GDMM College has stood above the rest in its approach to education and in its pedagogies. The ways we teach and the ways our students learn are unique and creative. Consistently, we never hesitated to look into our deficiencies and transform us to an efficient agent of social change. Many critics would confirm that the College has substantially contributed to the process of National Development by providing quality education and thereby enabling the students to become globally competent. We have plans and dreams in the years to come. We propose to introduce academic Audit for every department by external experts. This aims at regular scrutiny of the quality of teaching and the content of teaching. This will certainly go a long way in enhancing quality in education in accordance with the objectives of the institution and in serving society at large with sensitivity and commitment.
I am proud to be associated with GDMM College of Engineering, established in 2008 with the goal of providing quality education to young people, particularly belonging to rural areas. We strongly believe that, today's students need to learn a new set of skills, make sure they can adopt interrelated concepts, think independently, work collaboratively, act decisively, communicate unambiguously and positively influence.
The faculty at GDMM College of Engineering take a lot of care to ensure that the qualities of hard work, discipline, value system and obligation towards society and the nation are imbibed in our students. Our priority would always be to assist our students in creating and maintaining an open-minded attitude to better learn, understand and explore technical knowledge. However, what makes me happy is when a low-income student from a rural background regularly progresses from poor performance to better performance, heading for excellence.
