Ganga Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) on 28th March 2017 with a CGPA of 2.46 on a four-point scale, corresponding to Grade B. This recognition affirms our commitment to holistic education, infrastructure, and student development.
The peer team appreciated our efforts in women empowerment, library resources, community engagement, and the overall enabling environment. The college is now preparing for the second cycle of accreditation, expected in 2025–26, with enhanced quality benchmarks.

Established in 1971 by Late Shri Shivnandan Prasad, the college became a constituent unit of Patliputra University in 2018. It is the only women's college in Kankarbagh, catering to over 3000 students. The NAAC accreditation in 2017 was a milestone that validated our continuous efforts towards women's education and empowerment.
Golden Jubilee celebrated in 2021.
